Pleasanton, Poteet councils to hold meetings Thursday



Two important city council meetings will take place this coming Thursday, July 15.

Citizens are encouraged to attend the following meetings in person where they can address their city council and mayor with any questions, issues or requests. Citizens may do this during the Public Comments or Citizens Comments portion held at the beginning of each meeting.

Poteet City Council

The City of Poteet will hold a special called city council meeting on Thursday, July 15 at 5:30 p.m. at Poteet City Hall located at 491 Avenue H.

Agenda items include possible action regarding the day-to-day affairs in the event the City Administrator position is unfilled and possible action directing City Staff to advertise with a request for proposals for legal counsel.

There is no COVIDrelated limit for residents wishing to attend. The fire code limit is 49 people inside Poteet City Hall.

Pleasanton City Council



The City of Pleasanton will hold their regular monthly meeting this Thursday as well at 5:30 p.m. inside the council chambers at Pleasanton City Hall located at 108 2nd St. The meeting will be livestreamed on the city’s website at http:// Citizens/.

During this meeting, council will hold their fourth ive session regarding a complaint against City Manager Johnny Huizar.
