Pleasanton PD executes pair of narcotics search warrants at Oasis LodgesFree Access


On June 29, 2020, members of the Pleasanton Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant on Unit #15 at the Oasis Lodges located at 517 Colwell Street in Pleasanton. Officers searched the cabin and discovered under one gram of Methamphetamine and a shotgun. Arrested were Federico Rodriguez Baeza and Yvette Rose Estrada. Baeza and Estrada were each charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 under one gram. Estrada faces the additional charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Both were booked into the Atascosa County Jail.

On July 1, 2020, members of the Pleasanton Police Department executed a second narcotics search warrant at the Oasis Lodges, this time on Unit #19. Inside the cabin, officers located David Garza who was found to be in possession of approximately 25 grams of Methamphetamine, digital scales and packaging materials and a 9mm Taurus pistol that had been reported as stolen to the San Antonio Police Department.  Garza was charged with manufacture / delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1, 4-200 grams, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Garza was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.

“After having received several complaints of alleged criminal activity at this location, our officers initiated an investigation and were able to gather enough evidence to obtain search warrants for two different cabins which resulted in arrests for various narcotics and weapons offenses. The people from this community do not deserve to have this type of activity in their neighborhood,” said Pleasanton Chief of Police Ronald Sanchez.
