The Pleasanton Parks & Recreation “Kid Fish” sponsored by El Castillo and the Pleasanton Express was a whopping success. More than 55 budding fishing enthusiasts, parents and volunteers turned out on a beautiful Thursday morning at the Pleasanton River Park to learn the basics of hook, line, sinker, bait and cast. El Castillo donated donuts, breakfast tacos, drinks, fishing poles and tackle boxes helping to make this family fun event at the park. Each participant went home with a fun prize, bags of goldfish and gummie worms. A few lucky winners took home brand new rod and reels plus tackle box.
