Longing to hit the tables Vegas-style but dont have the funds to travel and do it up right? In the need to hear some original country music, too? For $75 – or $125 per couple – you can do both. Pleasanton native Rodney (R.L.) Hayden will perform an acoustic set while you are able to gather around the craps table, bet on the roulette wheel, play Blackjack and more at the Pleasanton Independent School District Education Foundation Casino Night fundraiser on Saturday, November 19.
It all starts at 6:30 p.m. at Strawberry Pines, 1287 FM 476, Poteet, Texas.
The ticket includes cocktails, dinner (a choice of bacon wrapped filet/grilled chicken with sides by Kadobes) and gaming chips.
There are two VIP options again this year, too. For $1,400 a Blackjack table plus a table to enjoy cocktails with service for eight can be purchased. If you want only the table with service, it is $1,000 for eight guests.
A Texas Hold Em tournament is also planned for the evening. Buy-ins will be available, too.
Gaming will begin at 8 p.m. A drawing will be held for grand prizes based on each players chips, plus a raffle for guns will be held during the evening.
The foundation is a tax-exempt charitable organization which supports educational excellence within the Pleasanton Independent School District including awarding grants to district teachers for classroom instructional programs and scholarships to graduating students.
