Pleasanton’s freshman football team lost 44-33 to Devine on the road on Sept. 20.
The Eagles trailed 12-7 after the first quarter and were tied with Devine 20 at halftime. Pleasanton trailed 28-26 after the third quarter.
“The offensive line really pass protected well led up front by Adrian Alvarado, Peyton Eichman and Jonathon Guzman,” said coach Seth Rutland.
Ethan Martin threw two touchdown passes. Marco “Buck” Quinonez scored three times, including a kick return for a touchdown. J.J. Morales also scored touchdowns.
The freshman team is 3-1 and will play Carrizo Springs on the road on Sept. 27.
