Frank A. Tudyk Jr. (Butch) has served on the Pleasanton ISD school board for 13 years. Known throughout the community as “Coach,” Tudyk has served in the role of school board president for eight years.
Tudyk shared some of the ways in which the board and district demonstrate this year’s School Board Recognition Month theme, “Planting Seeds of Success.”
One of these includes increasing safety by the expansion of the Pleasanton ISD Police Department. The school board and district are also currently looking at expanding dual credit opportunities for students. Also, the participation of Pleasanton students in the wide variety of extracurricular activities offered has risen over the last few years.
“We work together as a group. We are a team,” Tudyk said.
