PISD PD Blue Blood DriveFree Access

On January 9, communities across the nation will be celebrating Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and showing support for the peace officers in their area. Looking for a way to get involved? Donate blood! C.O.P.S. is partnering up with blood donation agencies to host blood drives across the United States in honor of the blood, sweat and sacrifices so many officers make to keep us safe.

Pleasanton ISD Police Department, C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) and American Red Cross present National Blue Blood Drive. The community and surrounding cities of Pleasanton are invited to come out and donate blood on Wednesday, Jan. 19 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center on the PISD campus.

Local Pleasanton, Jourdanton, Poteet and PISD Police Department along with DPS and Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office will have units stationed near the blood drive to show their support. Three American Red Cross busses will be available for the community to come donate blood.
