Isaac Garcia led the Regional Conference as the Area 2 Region 2 President, where he opened the ceremonies, assisted the State Parliamentarian, Delanee Olivarri, in conducting Regional elections and distributed awards and medals at the awards ceremony. Isaac completed his term at this conference and will be helping the new Regional President at the State Leadership Conference in Dallas.
A highlight at Regionals was that sophomore Ashlyn Vera took a turn at running for Regional President with her campaign, “A Vote for Vera is Very Smart.” She participated in an interview, gave a speech, and campaigned for votes. Unfortunately, she missed being elected by a very small margin, but we are very proud of her for representing Pleasanton in the elections!
Congratulations to the students moving on to the State Leadership Conference in Dallas on March 4-7, and good luck!
