Pleasanton firefighters battle the blazing mobile home on College Street. No one was injured in the fire. The family living in the mobile home had gone next door for 10-15 minutes before they discovered their own home was on fire. Firefighters called it a complete loss. City Fire Marshal Scott Garris said the cause of the fire was undetermined but had started in the kitchen area. Garris also said the family had no fire insurance. Contributions to the residents, Cody and Karen Morris (and their infant), can be made by contacting the American Red Cross. Jourdanton VFD also responded to the fire call.
