Phase II of Open Texas: beginning now, massage services, personal care, tattoo parlors, childcare centers, youth clubs such as Boy Scouts and youth club sports such as Little League can resume operations. On Friday, May 22 bars, bowling alleys, bingo parlors, skating rinks, rodeos, equestrian events, zoos and aquariums may reopen at 25% capacity. Also starting Friday, restaurants can increase their capacity to 50% from 25%. Businesses located in office buildings are able to reopen with some restrictions on May 22.
Starting May 31st, youth day/sports camps, overnight camps and professional sports without spectators can open.
Gov. Abbott said schools will be able to offer summer schools as long as they follow safe distancing practices as soon as June 1.
