Pathfinders take first place

Poteet Trail Blazers Fund- Raiser
On Saturday, March 31 there will be a Bargain Market at La Bodega, 4th Street and Avenue F. in Poteet. There will be food, arts and crafts and flea market vendors. Spaces are available. Call 742-8171.
All proceeds from booth rentals will be donated to the Poteet Trail Blazers,
a committee of the Poteet Community Forum that supports El Camino Real Recreation Trail to be constructed in Poteet. The trail will be a two-mile long hike and bike trail adjacent to the Rutledge Creek tributary and is part of El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail.

The Pathfinders went to Alvarado,
Texas on March 3 and competed with 13 clubs from around Texas. They along with Scenic Hills SDA from San Antonio and two others clubs received first place. In order to receive first place everyone had to get 90 percent
from the highest score and they would be eligible to move to the next level.

These four clubs will be going to Davis, Oklahoma on March 31. Those winning first place will excel to the North American Division in Silver Springs, Maryland on April 21.
They are asking for your prayers as these young children
answer questions from scriptures memorized from the books of Mark and 1 Samuel
and the SDA Commentary. Many hard worked hours have been put to practice and studying and we are asking God to bring them into memory when time is needed to share with the world what they have learned.
