Meet vs. meat

Meet the City Manager

There will be a meet and greet prior to the January 19 Pleasanton City Council meeting. Newly hired City Manager Bruce Pearson will be available to press hands at 6:00 p.m.

Kanga who?

Speaking of meet… get ready for some other meat.. the wild kind. Word has it that there’s a new mascot in town. Actually, he’s been around for a few years but debuts this week in his own column (page 6A). The Pleasanton Lions Club will be hosting their big Wild Game Dinner, February 25 and Cletus K. Roo is helping to spread the word.
