There’s still time to get a team together for the CASA fundraiser, Redneck Games and Hillbilly Races. It will be held on Saturday, June 16 at the Atascosa County Showbarn grounds. The fun starts at 10 a.m.

The event is free to attend with lots of entertainment for the family. Food booths will be available and silent auction bidding opportunity.

Father’s Day By now our Sports Editor, Eric Smith, should be a proud daddy. His wife, Briana, went into early labor Monday afternoon. We are hoping that all is going well for the new Smith family! Read his column on page 1C! Speaking of Father’s Day… let dear old (or young) dad know how much you love him by honoring him with a Father’s Day ad.
