Free GSA Procurement Workshop Jan. 16

The City of Pleasanton will hold a General Service Administration (GSA) Procurement Workshop Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m., at Coastal Bend College in Pleasanton.

The Pleasanton-GSA Procurement Workshop is FREE and open to any person or small business that would like to do business with the federal government. The workshop will feature: GSA registration, GSA procurement process, bidding process, forecasting bidding opportunities, and bid updates.

“The Federal government offers millions in contracted procurement opportunities annually in this region and it’s important that locally owned businesses take advantage of this workshop,” says Janice M. Gonzalez, EMC Strategy Group, LLC, Owner & Founder.

By Federal law, the government sets aside billions in procurement opportunities for businesses owned by: veterans, women, minorities, and designated small businesses.

“We encourage our residents, especially local business owners to participate in this great opportunity,” says Johnny Huizar, Pleasanton City Manager. “The mayor, city council, and my staff support all efforts to strengthen our local economy through awareness programs, like this workshop, to grow small businesses,” adds Mr. Huizar.

Please contact janice. gonzalez@emcstrategygroup.com or call 210-960- 4340, ext. 102 to register for the GSA Procurement Workshop or to schedule an appointment for the new business start-up program.
