Pleasanton Express Contests
We have some FUN in store for our readers and social media followers! Three contests will soon be taking place, and we’d like to encourage you to participate. We will be having our own Easter Egg Hunt coming out in our print edition on March 23. We will challenge you to FIND and COUNT all the hidden eggs throughout that publication. As the Poteet Strawberry Festival approaches, there will be two contests taking place: Strawberry Pickin’ in our print edition and a #StrawFest16 photo contest on Instagram.
Kindess is Key
On our Facebook we enjoy seeing posts about people in our community performing Random Acts of Kindness or providing a kind service to others. We do our part to spread the positivity On-line by sharing those posts, but we’d also like to extend their reach by sharing these special moments in our print edition. If you are ever a recipient of or ever witness a Random Act of Kindess or see someone providing a kind, selfless service to others, we want to hear about it! E-mail a photo or story to Erika Vela at: firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also LIKE our Facebook page and post your story and photos or send them to us in a message.
IF YOU have any information on events happening in Atascosa County and would like them to be featured in Out & About, please E-mail Special Assignments Editor Erika Vela at email@example.com or share them with us on Facebook!
