Church services at The Door CFM

The Door CFM invites the public to join them for four powerful services with Missionary/Evangelist Jeremiah Wacker. Services are scheduled for Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. and two services on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Expect powerful preaching, prayer for the sick, and God’s miracle power. Battle of the Bands on April 8

Enter the Battle of the Bands Contest, April 8 at the Strawberry Sift (when all berries will be sold after judging on the Poteet Strawberry Festival grounds). Deadline to enter is March 31. Winner receives $1,000 cash prize and chance to play a short set at the Poteet Strawberry Festival, April 14-16. All genres welcome, but contest is only open to Atascosa County bands. IDD Awareness Community Celebration

The public is invited to celebrate this event on Thursday, March 16, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Pleasanton River Park, 900 River Park Rd. Join Camino Real Community Services for food, music, games, Zumba, face painting and more. IDD awareness is designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
