Chili’s Teams Up with Poteet Project Grad

Jourdanton-Pleasanton Chili’s wants you to allow them to do the cooking on Thursday, March 31 while they support Poteet’s Project Grad. With each flyer presented, they will donate 15 percent of the event’s day sales to the organization. Visit Chili’s at 2311 W. Oaklawn in Pleasanton on Thursday to help support Poteet’s class of 2016.

Veterans Easter Bash

The American Legion Post 436 in Jourdanton will be hosting the Veterans Easter Bash on Saturday, April 2. There will be food, dancing, and live music featuring Tejano artists La Tropa F, Chente Barrera, La Calma, Grupo Texas Heat, Conjunto Calidad, Puro Potencia and Lobo IV. Pre-sale tickets are available for $15 at the following locations: Eagle Lube, Tribe Nutrition, and the American Legion Post 436.

Support Pleasanton’s Project Graduation

Pleasanton’s Project Graduation will be selling carne guisada plates on Saturday, April 2 at El Castillo Mexican Restaurant. All proceeds will benefit Project Graduation. Please help support Project Graduation 2016 a success!

Strawberry Pickin’ Contest

Strawberry Pickin’ is no easy task, however, we’re challenging you to FIND and COUNT all of our Strawberries hidden throughout our PRINT edition. To Enter: E-mail your name, phone number and the number of strawberries to Erika Vela at evela@pleasantonexpress.com or bring your entry to the Pleasanton Express office by Monday, April 4. A winner will be selected and announced in our Wednesday, April 6 publication. One lucky winner will receive wristbands to enter the Poteet Strawberry Festival grounds!
