Our Lady of Grace Catholic School honored local U.S. veterans at a prayer service, led by their fourth and fifth graders, and attended by younger students and guests on Thursday, Nov. 11. The Pleasanton High School JROTC presented the colors. JROTC instructor Col. (Ret.) Christopher Wynder’s daughter Teliyah Wynder sang the national anthem. As part of the ceremony, students read aloud letters they had written to a veteran in their family and a blessing over the veterans was offered.
