Narcotics Bust




The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigations Unit executed a search warrant May 28th in the 500 block of Timbercreek in the Shalimar Subdivision seizing a large quantity of drugs, according to Sheriff David Soward.

Sheriff’s investigators had been investigating the report of drugs being sold at the residence and gathered sufficient probable cause to obtain the warrant.

The search warrant was issued by Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 Orlando Carrasco upon an affidavit filed by Sergeant Investigator Jesse Martinez.

A team of sheriff’s deputies and investigators led by the Sheriff’s Office NIU executed the warrant last Wednesday night.

Sheriff’s officers seized a quarter ounce of heroin, a quarter ounce of crystal methamphetamine and approximately 12 ounces of marijuana. Sheriff Soward stated the drugs had a street value of almost $4,000.

Investigators also seized $3,484 in cash and two pistols.

Arrested at the scene was Adrian Aguilar Salazar, 23, of the 500 block of Timbercreek in Poteet.

Salazar was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Heroin with intent to deliver; Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine with intent to deliver; and Possession of Marijuana over 4 ounces.

Total bond was set at $200,015. Also arrested at the scene was John Michael Supulver, 37, of Floresville who was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, less than one gram. Supulver was released on a $10,000 bond.

Salazar remains in the Atascosa County in lieu of bond, according to Sheriff Soward.
