Above: WOAI-News 4 Sports Director Don Harris (L) announces Pleasanton’s AJ Ayala as the Defensive MVP of the 44th annual San Antonio Sports All-Star Football game Saturday evening in the Alamodome. Ayala earned the honors after recording two sacks. One of those sacks was on Boerne quarterback Rashawn Galloway in the end zone for a safety to put Team Black up 2-0 in the first quarter. Team Gold eventually won the game 18-9. Poteet’s Ernest Davila scored a two-point conversion for Team Gold that made the score 8-2 in the first quarter.
