Trial dates for several murder cases in Atascosa County have been reset for various dates in the coming months.

Jose Juarez, who was charged with capital murder for the death of his son Mason, will appear in court on Wednesday, July 26. Raul Cruz who is charged with criminal negligent homicide will be back in court on Monday, July 31. Joe Anthony Perez who is charged with the murder of Ariel Fernandez, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault date/family/home is set to stand trial on Monday, July 31. Matthew Serna will also be present in court on a murder charge for the shooting death of Lawrence Bert Cole on July 31.

Samantha Hurt Jones, along with John Bryan Finch and Naomi Delgado are charged in the June 2014 murder of Lindsey Wadkins. Finch and Delgado will appear in court on Monday, July 31.

After a bond reduction, Jones made bail and was released on house arrest on April 20. According to court records, on May 10, a warrant was issued for Jones’ arrest after she was unable to submit a drug test sample within two hours of a request by an officer.
