The Merry on Main Lighted Christmas Parade sponsored by DOCUmation was filled with tons of Christmas magic, fun, music, dancing and so much more this past Saturday! The parade kicked off with the spectacular 10-minuted Pale Rider Memorial Firework Show that could be seen from downtown Pleasanton. Approximately 95 entries decked out in their best holiday spirit paraded through the route that was lined by thousands of spectators starting on Bryant Street all the way down to Main Street.

“The Merry on Main Parade has grown every year and I am very proud to be part of such a wonderful event,” said Cindy Mumm, Merry on Main parade committee chair.

Pleasanton Chief of Police Ronald Sanchez was chosen to be this year’s Grand Marshal as a way to honor his many years of service to the City of Pleasanton and to honor all law enforcement officers for their daily sacrifices.

Judges for the parade this year were Tori House, Laura Walters and Lisa Pogue Yaklin. The Pleasanton Pacesetters were crowned the Overall Parade Winners for their float this year.
