For the second time this season, McMullen County was victorious over Charlotte.

The Cowgirls beat Charlotte in four sets (26-16, 25-10, 22-25, 25-18) to hold onto the fourth and final playoff spot in district 31-2A. The win increased McMullen County’s chances of clinching the playoffs as they are now two games ahead of Charlotte. The Trojannettes currently sit in fifth but still have hopes of overtaking the Cowgirls for the final playoff spot. However, the task won’t be easy to overcome as they take on the top two teams in the district in their final matches.

Charlotte travelled to Ben Bolt for their matchup Tuesday night before hosting Three Rivers later this week. McMullen County travelled to Freer Tuesday before they play at Agua Dulce this Friday.
