Mayor’s Message – Pleasanton

Greetings from the Mayor’s office: I recently was asked to appear in a video asking the public to assist the Pleasanton Police Department in reporting any vandalism that is witnessed in the City park. Yes, we have 24-hour security, but, other sets of eyes are always helpful and you can remain anonymous when reporting. The park belongs to all of us and I would ask you to call 830-569-3869, and let the PD know if you suspect vandals in our city park or anywhere else in the city. I thank you in advance for your help.

Please keep in mind the date of Thursday, August 22. I would like to invite all to our Civic Center, beginning at 6 p.m., for a Legislative Update with State Senator Peter Flores. We are not only fortunate to have the Senator represent us, but taking his time to join us for an evening of updates of what was passed in the recent legislative session in Austin. Hope to see you there. A big “shout-out” to our Pleasanton Eagle football team and “huge success” in this year’s schedule. Being a ’67 graduate, Linda and I try to make all the games, especially at home and will be there again this year to support the team and coaches. And by the way, season tickets are on sale now. We have ours…. hope you do too!

Until next week…….. best regards.
