Mayor’s Message – Pleasanton

Greetings from the Mayor’s Office, During this special time of the year, it reminds us to be thankful for all we have. My grandfather used to say, “It is good health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold or silver.” Ever since the first Thanksgiving, which was called the “Harvest Gathering” in 1621, we have a day set aside for giving thanks which is celebrated by millions in this country and around the world. It is a time to gather with family and friends and reflect on our good tidings. On behalf of myself, the city council, city manager, city staff, as well as all of our city employees and our fluffy friends at the animal shelter, we wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving. We will talk city business next week as “Merry on Main” approaches. Until then, best regards…
