Margarita P. Bosquez, 95 years old, of Christine entered her eternal rest on November 2, 2020, in Jourdanton. She was born, raised and was a longtime resident of Christine. Margarita attended school in Christine. Afterwards she worked for Laura Martin from Christine as a house maid. She then met the love of her life, Manuel P. Bosquez and they were married on August 13, 1943. They settled in Christine with their six children. Both worked at the Peeler Ranch for Dorothy Peeler from 1940 to 1952, then worked at the Old Timers Nursing home in Pleasanton for 13 years as a cook. This is where she found her love of cooking for others as well as her family. Anytime someone would come to visit she always took the time to feed them. If you couldn’t stay long, she would pack you a plate to go. She also worked at Mercy Hospital (TriCity) in Jourdanton for 29 years and retired as a cook. After her retirement she worked as a caregiver for Santos Garcia and Elodia Garcia for many years. Margaret was one of the kindest and most loving people you could ever meet, she opened her heart and home to anyone. Margarita’s greatest loves were her children, grandchildren and many friends and family who will miss her dearly.
