The Lumen Gentium Award is a way to recognize Catholics who exemplify the spirit and who live his or her baptismal call in an extraordinary way through stewardship and leadership to “make the Church present and fruitful in those places and circumstances where it is only through them that she can become the salt of the earth.” Receiving this honor from St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton are Raymond and Ginger Martinez, pictured with Father Prasanna Mese.
