Longhorn Museum to host speaker from George West

The public is cordially invited to attend the Longhorn Museum Society meeting on Tuesday, April 2, and hear a presentation from a speaker from the neighboring town of George West.

Following a brief meeting at 7 p.m., Kevin Mackey will present a program on “George West—The Man.” It promises to be an interesting story of the life and influence of this man who created the town of George West and surrounding communities.

The Longhorn Museum features photos of the town of George West in its display area. Mr. Mackey’s wife, Sallie, runs the Grace Armantrout Museum in George West.

Join us for this special event. Following the presentation, refreshments will be served. The Longhorn Museum is located on Hwy. 97E in Pleasanton. Admission to the museum is always free.
