Pleasanton’s football game with Pearsall on Sept. 24 will have a change in location. The game, originally scheduled for Pearsall’s Maverick Stadium will now be moved to Eagle Stadium in Pleasanton.
Pleasanton ISD Athletics sent out an email to the Express on Monday announcing the change of location.
Pearsall’s stadium has been undergoing renovations and the lights will not be completed in time for the game against Pleasanton.
All general admission pre-sale for the game will be available for purchase on Monday, Sept. 20 from 8-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. Reserved ticket holders can purchase their seats for the game on Monday Sept. 20 and Tuesday Sept. 21.
Pre-sale tickets will be $5 for general admission and $3 for students. Tickets at the gate on Sept. 24 will be $7.
The schedule change means that Pleasanton will have four straight home games between Sept. 17 and Oct. 8.
Kickoff for Pleasanton and Pearsall will be at 7 p.m. on Sept. 24.
Pleasanton and Pearsall last played in 2019. That game, played in Pleasanton, was won by the Eagles 28-0.
Pleasanton last played in Pearsall in 2018. That year the Eagles won 35-7 at Maverick Stadium.
