Even though so much is free, we encourage folks to bring their money to spend at one of the 50 tasty food and creative retail vendors.

Friday night festivities at the Pleasanton River Park will kick off with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony and caroling followed by a full night of fun that includes lighted carriage rides, pony rides, an ice slide, virtual reality coasters, food trucks and a talent show featuring 19 entertainers vying for cash prizes. Saturday all events take place on Main Street in downtown Pleasanton featuring Jingle Bell Fun Run, Santa photos, Elf Shelf Shopping, Bike Parade, Kid Zone, Little Miss Merry on Main Pageant, Cookie Contest, Lighted Christmas Parade, and the grand finale a firework extravaganza show.

I know it is a busy time of the season but please take time to come be a part of the magical merriment of Merry on Main. Make lasting Christmas memories with your family, friends and community on Main Street. See you there with jingle bells on!
