Last week Jourdanton Police Chief Eric Kaiser and Pleasanton Police Chief Ronald Sanchez attended the FBI Command College in San Antonio.
The FBI Command College trains chief executives and certain secondin command officers of local departments. Since approximately 80 percent of the law enforcement agencies in the U.S. have fewer than 25 sworn officers, the FBI Command College serve the majority of local agency executives.
The command college is a 40-hour course focused on best practices for management, legal issues, and media relations. Support for the program is provided by the FBI and other law enforcement agencies.
Chief Kaiser and Chief Sanchez are the first two Atascosa County law enforcement executives to graduate from this program.
