While the winner for the United States President has yet to be announced, Atascosa County election results are in but unofficial. The Pleasanton Express will provide a full report with interviews with candidates for our Wednesday, Nov. 11 issue.

Atascosa County Sheriff David Soward has won re-election to office. The unofficial totals were David Soward: 9,672 and Rick Luna 8,325.

Atascosa County Commissioner, Precinct 1, Mark Gillespie has won re-election to his office beating David Cabellero 2,616 to 1,392. County Constable, Pct. 3, Cregg Thompson will keep his position winning the election 2,441 to Armando “Mando” Vidales’ 1,793. Jourdanton Mayor Robert “Doc” Williams has been re-elected as Mayor with 1,325 votes.
