The Pleasanton Lions Club is celebrating 50 years of hosting their annual wild game dinner this Saturday, March 1. This year not only marks the Golden celebration, but it is also the first year that the club sold out of their tables months before the event as well as not selling single tickets to the event.

If you are among the ones attending the celebration this year, then you will savor scrumptious food catered by the Black Tie Affair, enjoy an array of liquid refreshment plus dance to a mystery band – that’s right – a MYSTERY band. Mum’s the word on the entertainment this year, but assurance has been given that no one will be disappointed.

Several businesses are Main Event sponsors. They are Manning Safety in Jourdanton and Daniel & Hudson Attorneys at Law, LLC. AP Electric, HEB and the UPS store have contributed so much to ensure the event will be a success as well.
