The “Lighted Christmas Parade” in Pleasanton has been set for Saturday, December 1.
Sponsored by the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Posse, organizers welcome everyone to participate in the parade. So, strap on the lights to your horses, wagons and floats and join in.
Trophies will be awarded to the entry with: The Most Decorated Horse and Rider and Most Decorated Wagon/ Float. If you can’t participate, come and see the horses and lights!
Participants will gather at Pleasanton at the Atascosa River Park. This will also be the area where the parade ends.
Judging of entries begins at 6 p.m. The Lighted Christmas Parade kicks off at 6:30 p.m.
Following the parade, organizers will serve hot chocolate and cookies!

After gathering at the Atascosa River Park in Pleasanton
and the judging is complete,
the parade will travel outside
the park and will turn right
onto Adams Street and then:
