Lanham, Senior Geophysicist, to speak to STEM classes at Pleasanton High School




Lindsay Lanham, PHS Class of ‘95 valedictorian, will be addressing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) classes at Pleasanton High School, Wednesday, February 26 at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Lanham will announce that FTS International is donating money to the Pleasanton Education Foundation to fund three college scholarships. The FTS International STEM Scholarships will be awarded this spring to Pleasanton High School students planning to major in one of the STEM fields at college.

Lindsay Lanham is a Senior Geophysicist, with more than 15 years of international and domestic experience in petroleum exploration, development and new venture projects. Mrs. Lanham has owned a geophysical consulting company for the last nine years, focusing on projects in Indonesia, Vietnam and other areas in Southeast Asia. Prior to this, she worked for Anadarko Petroleum and Dominion Exploration and Production. Mrs. Lanham earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University (TAMU) and a Master of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma, both in Geophysics. Mrs. Lanham was the 1995 valedictorian of Pleasanton High School. She received several local scholarships designated for PHS graduates, including the George W. Crocker ’51 Endowed Scholarship in Geosciences at TAMU.

She is the daughter of Fred and Sandra Poth.
