Sam Houston-Pleasanton was able to keep this 28-3A match-up close early on last Tuesday, Jan. 3rd. Sam Houston was able to hold a 16-9 lead on the Lady Eagles after one.

After that, turnover after turnover resulted in easy basket after easy basket for Sam Houston. Pleasanton finished with 40-turnovers in the game. As a result, Sam was able to hold a 29-13 lead at the half.

In the second half, things simply got out of hand, as Pleasanton couldn’t muster much offensively. Sam Houston was able to extend their lead to 53-19 going into the final quarter before winning the contest, 67-26.
