Keith Pierce


Keith Everett Pierce was born on June 8, 1993 in Kerrville, Texas to Stephan and Ria Pierce. He entered this world with his mind made up and there was no changing it. Keith did everything his way.  He loved life and lived it as fast as he possibly could. Keith had met the love of his life, Tina Murphree and together they had created a beautiful baby daughter, Avery Marie Pierce. He was a mechanic and was fulfilling his dream of having his own shop.  God called him home way too soon for all of us who love him so much. The family draws strength from knowing that Keith is with God in Heaven. He has been reunited with his Dad & Mom, grandfathers and other loved ones. It must be a glorious reunion. One that we all will experience when it is our time.  Keith passed away on November 22, 2016 in San Antonio due to injuries he received in a motorcycle accident.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Stephan Pierce, mother, Ria Pierce, grandfathers, John Pierce and Edward Lee Whisnant and step father, Tracy Sherman.  

Keith is survived by his fiancée, Tina Murphree, daughter, Avery Marie Pierce, sister, Keyla McMullin and husband Scooter, brother, Kaleb Sherman, grandmothers, Dorothy Pierce and Lola Frazelle.  He is also survived by his aunt Dorothy Manning, uncle and aunt Norman and Missie Pierce, uncle and aunt Larry and Debra Pierce, uncles John Pierce and Robert Pierce. Survivors also include nephews, Evan  and Easton McMullin, numerous cousins and a host of friends.  

Keith was an outstanding young man who never met a stranger, and could talk to anyone about anything. He will be missed every day by his family and friends.

Visitation for Keith was  on Sunday, November 27 from 2-8 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton.  The family was present from 6-8 p.m.  Funeral services were graveside on Monday, November 28 at 11 a.m., at the On The Farm Cemetery near Jourdanton.
