Julie Marie Olivares, aged 45 years old of Pleasanton, was born on July 29, 1975, to Rogelio C. and Josephine Olivares in San Antonio. During her early years, she lived in Natalia, before moving to Pleasanton in 1979. She graduated from Pleasanton High School in 1997.

Even though Julie was unable to talk, she knew who you were, and greeted you with an extended hand and smile. Anyone who knew Julie knew her love for music, especially George Strait. She loved riding around town and the family property in the truck with her dad, listening to George. One of her favorite places to eat was McDonald’s, and that time out around town was the highlight of her day. We will miss her laughing at us when we sneezed. She gained her angel wings to Heaven, resting and free of illness, on May 6, 2021, surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother Petra Costilla, grandfather Jose Pulido, great-grandparents Perfecto and Euliala Camacho, great-grandparents Simon and Rafela Camacho and grandfather Lee Olivarez.

Julie is survived by her loving parents, whom she lived with and cared for her entire life, Rogelio C. and Josie Olivares, brother Roy Anthony Olivares and wife Dawn, nieces Avery and Allison Olivares, grandmother, Angelina Pulido, Grandmother Lorenza Camacho, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
