JPD and ACSO team up for arrests

On Wednesday, Nov 28 Jourdanton Police Officers working in conjunction with Atascosa County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jeremy Dillard and Kristin Dillard, of Pleasanton, on outstanding warrants for Forgery out of the Poteet Police Department.

Investigations by both ACSO and JPD had identified the Dillards as suspects in numerous check forgery cases around Atascosa and Wilson Counties.

The arrest of these subjects and the subsequent follow-up led JPD Officers and ACSO Deputies to the recovery of numerous pieces of stolen property, including tools, air conditioner units, auto parts and other items that were acquired through the forging of checks at local businesses in Jourdanton, Pleasanton and Floresville. Investigators also located and seized drug paraphernalia at the same scene.

Sheriff David Soward stated that his Investigators will continue to assist local police departments in these investigations.

Chief Eric Kaiser confirmed that this investigation is not over and Jourdanton

Officers along with Atascosa Sheriff’s Office Deputies will follow up on all leads that assist in the recovery of stolen items.

The Chief also commended Sgt. Investigator Mari Kaufman, Cpl. Timothy Sawicki and his K-9 Kimbo as well as ACSO Lt. Investigator Max Peralta and ACSO Deputy Sheriff Daniel Gonzales for working to recover this stolen property and hold the suspects accountable.

Multiple Forgery charges are now pending on the Dillards out of numerous area agencies.
