Congratulations to the winners of the “Let’s Paint the Town Red” Contest. Local businesses were challenged to show their Jourdanton Indian pride during last week’s Homecoming. Nutrition 830 in Jourdanton was the second place Jourdanton Pride Award winner. Pictured left to right at Nutrition 830 are: Melinda Ruiz, JHS Cheer Captain Kylie Bosquez, Ally Bautista and Christina Aguilar. Lesley’s Flowers & Gifts in Jourdanton was the first place Jourdanton Pride Award winner and will be featured next week on the front page of the Pleasanton Express.

Urban Bricks in Pleasanton was the third place winner in the Jourdanton Pride Award. Pictured left to right are: Celine Gonzalez, JHS Cheer Captain Kylie Bosquez and Laura Garcia. The winning businesses each received a tote bag, T-shirts and snacks from the Jourdanton High School Indians and Squaws.
