The Jourdanton boys basketball team won a pair of district games last week to improve to 3-1.
The Indians picked up a road win over Karnes City, 77-72, on Jan. 9 to start the week.
Senior Michael Klumb had a team-high 22 points for Jourdanton. The Indians also got 18 points from freshman Jarel Lilly and 14 from Jacob Reyna.
Senior Payton Kaiser added 10 points against the Badgers.
On Friday, Jourdanton beat San Antonio Brooks 62-45 at home.
Lilly led a balanced Indians attack with 14 points. Reyna scored 13 for Jourdanton, which also got 10 points from senior Jemareon Moore.
Klumb scored eight points, and Colton Schuchart added seven. Tyler Dorroh had five points, and Josh Isaac finished with four.
Jourdanton has won three in a row after falling to state-ranked San Antonio Cole in the district opener.
“The team is looking good,” Jourdanton coach Joseph Garmon said. “Extremely proud of our leadership. Michael Klumb, Jacob Reyna and Will Reynolds have been doing a great job making sure everyone is working hard each day. We see improvement each time we get on the floor.”
