Jourdanton FFA members recently attended the annual Texas FFA Convention in Dallas. Seventeen Jourdanton FFA members attended the Texas FFA convention held July 9-12 in Dallas, Texas. Speakers and state officers encouraged students to be “LIMITLESS” in many sessions throughout the week. Members participated as voting delegates and attended the Turnpike Troubadours concert as well as Fun Night. Jourdanton FFA was recognized as a Golden Horizon Hold Rates Chapter.
Nine Jourdanton FFA members received their Lone Star degree, which is the highest achievement attainable in the Texas FFA association. Amanda Lanier advanced to the extemporaneous speaking finals and placed ninth. Students enjoyed meeting other members throughout the week and are motivated to have a LIMITLESS year.
