Joseph Rothenbach passed away on September 9, 2020. He grew up in Southern Wisconsin where he met his wife, RoEllen. He enlisted in the Navy during the Vietnam War where he obtained his education in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Shortly after his military service he and his family moved to Texas to be near his extended family, where he continued his career in nuclear medicine technology and enjoyed training new technologists. In his free time, he enjoyed building hot rods, fishing and large family gatherings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John, Sr. and Bessie Rothenbach; two sisters, Cindy and Donna; and one great-nephew, Christopher.
He is survived by his wife RoEllen; his two children, daughter and son-in-law, Debbie (Mark) Mund of Fredericksburg, and daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Rothenbach (Nate) Skinner. His grandchildren, Chris Kuykendall of Weatherford, Hughston Mund and life partners Serenity Gamill and Kaila Montgomery of San Antonio and Meagan Mund of Fredericksburg. Sister and brother-in-law, Mary (Fran) Baker and brothers and sisters-in-law, John, Jr. (Becky) Rothenbach, James Rothenbach, Peter Rothenbach, and Don (Karen) Rothenbach. Numerous nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great-nephews.
He was greatly loved and will be missed.
