This past June, Joe Alvarado was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis (MG). The most common form of MG is a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disorder that is characterized by fluctuating weakness of the voluntary muscle groups. Joe has shown much improvement and his family is extremely grateful.

The Alvarado family extends a very big thank you to Mario Leyva and Robert Garcia and their families for getting this event together. They would also like to thank MG Building Supplies – Pleasanton, Mike and Katy Luna, Johnny Garza, Richard Chapa, Larry Chapa, Mark Tullos, Reyes and Mary Gallegos, Mary Rodriguez, BesTees’, Rey Rodriguez and many others who have contributed.
Some of the items up for the raffle this Saturday include: $50 Cafe Chris gift card donated by Mary Rodriguez, two #1 dinners from El Castillo donated by Rey Rodriguez, Porter Cable Air Compressor donated by Mario Leyva, $200 H-E-B gift card donated by Richard Chapa and Larry Chapa, wooden lawn table with four chairs handmade by Robert Garcia, 6 ft. picnic table with small BBQ pit donated by Johnny Garza and more.
