JHS STUDENTS ACCEPTED TO ALAMO ACADEMY

JHS student Abigail Valdez was accepted into the Health Professions Academy which will allow her to take the prerequisite courses required for nursing school. These two girls are the only two Jourdanton students accepted from applicants from over 25 school districts in the San Antonio area. Their acceptance is equivalent to a $12,500 scholarship. They will attend college classes at St. Philip’s and San Antonio College in the mornings and their high school courses back on campus in the afternoons. Both girls will earn at least 30 college credit hours during the two-year programs.
