Jesus Duran of Charlotte passed away April 7, 2019 at the age of 72. He was born in Lampazos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on October 15, 1946 to his parents, Roman Duran Ramos and Antonia Hernandez Duran.
Jesus is survived by his wife, Maria De La Luz Mendoza Rodriguez of Lampazos, Mexico; friend and partner, Josephine Rivas of Charlotte; sons, Jesus Duran, Jr. and Santiago Duran both of Lampazos, Mexico; daughters, Maria Duran, Teresa Duran, Rosa Duran, Reyna Duran all of Lampazos, Mexico; stepsons, Ricardo Tristan of Charlotte, Benny Tristan of Colony and Johnny Tristan of Clear Springs, Maryland; stepdaughters, Suzie Longoria of Charlotte and Yolanda Tristan of Lubbock; brothers, Roman Duran of Austin and Eduardo Duran of Lampazos, Mexico and sisters, Carmen Duran of Nuevo Laredo and Aurora Duran of Lampazos. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be conducted at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton on Friday, April 12 from 2-9 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Services will conclude at that time.
