JESSE TALAMANTEZ


 

 

Jesse Talamantez, 79, of Pleasanton, passed away on April 8, 2021, in Pleasanton. Jesse loved to go fishing. He was a mechanic for many years where he helped many or guided them on how to fix their cars. He used to race at the Alamo Drag Race where he won a few trophies. He loved to spend his time at the park. He surely will be missed by so many. He loved to wave to everyone who passed by his home.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Reynaldo Talamantez, Ruben Talamantez and wife Emma, Juanita Zamora and husband Frank, Minnie Bosquez, and Solia Castillo all of Pleasanton.

He is preceded in death by his parents Enriquez Talamantez and Cruz (Salazar) Talamantez; brothers Henry Jr, Tony, Louis and Willie Talamantez; his sister Lillie Perez; brothers-in-law Johnny Bosquez, Tony Castillo; sisters in law Sulema Talamantez, Yolanda Talamantez; nephews and nieces Orlando Talamantez, Cindy Perez, David Zamora, Sally Coker, Adam Talamantez and Robert Gonzales.

A time of visitation, rosary, and funeral Mass were held at St. Andrew Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 13. Visitation was from 10- 11 a.m., reciting of the rosary at 11 a.m. and funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Burial followed at St. Andrews Catholic Cemetery #2.
