Jeff S. Bray has a new novel on the shelves and on Amazon. Bray is a local writer. He will be supporting the Jourdanton ISD Food Locker on Nov. 10 from 6-8 p.m.

Bray recently published his new novel, “Little Reminders of Who I Was,” which is a sequel to his first novel in the Little Reminders series. The first book left off on a cliffhanger question mark. This left the opportunity for a second book. Bray’s moral of this story is, “While there is the overlying love story between Derrick and Breonna, other threads are intertwined of rebuilding self-confidence and, if you can believe it, the love of food.”

The book cover was actually illustrated by Bray’s wife, Carolyn. Jeff took the NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month of 2021, to write a first draft. He then edited it in two months. This novel is age appropriate from young adults and up. Bray encourages everyone to read both “Little Reminders of Who I Was” and “Little Reminders of Who I Am.”

You can grab your copy at the Jourdanton Library for the Jourdanton ISD Food Locker to support their pantry.

“I’m excited to join with the Jourdanton ISD Food Locker to assist the kids of our community. I look forward to meeting those who will contribute and am proud that my release of ‘Little Reminders of Who I Was’ will spur the community to this cause. Thank you, everyone, for your donations. See you on Nov. 10 at the Jourdanton Library.”
