Jeanne Silber Palmer 70, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 in Pleasanton. She was born March 22, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia to William H. and Ruby E. (Brown) Silber. Jeanne was a nurse for 40 years, she retired as Director of Nursing with South Texas Regional Hospital. She worked as school nurse for Pleasanton and Poteet School Districts.
She is preceded in death by her parents William H. and Ruby E. Silber and husband Raymond Palmer.
Jeanne is survived by her sons David Palmer and wife Felicia, Randy Palmer and wife Jodie and Kevin Palmer and wife Hallie; brother Greg Silber and wife Diane; niece Katie Oberhelman and husband Michael; grandchildren Kelsey Palmer, Shelby Palmer, Tyler Palmer, Brooke Palmer, Luke Palmer, Avery Palmer, and Hank Palmer.
Serving as pallbearers were Greg Silber, Tyler Palmer, Colin Seely, David Palmer, Randy Palmer, and Kevin Palmer and serving as honorary pallbearer was Carl Bailey. The visitation was Thursday, Jan. 3 from 4-9 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Loire. A funeral Mass was Friday, Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Loire. Interment followed services at St. Luke’s Catholic Cemetery in Loire.
