Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will be stationed at the Microtel while it serves as a temporary rapid processing center during the undocumented immigrants’ stay in Pleasanton.
Endeavors will provide management and services to the undocumented immigrants housed at the Microtel during their 72- hour processing period stay. The families that come into ICE custody will be housed to allow for immigration enforcement processing and establishing appropriate terms and conditions for release while their immigration proceedings are in process. The undocumented immigrants will not be released into the community of Atascosa County.
All families will be tested for COVID-19, provided clothing, meals and snacks, access to medical care, phone usage and individual rooms for families. They will be transferred out of Atascosa County after 72 hours.
